zoonotic transmission

I have to write a research proposal based on proving cat fur can serve as a viable transmission.
My question, hypothesis, prediction is

We currently do not know what other animal materials besides meat or blood, harvested by humans may serve as viable transmission for zoonoses. Sporotrichosis is a zoonotic disease caused by fungi that is primarily transmitted by domestic cats (Bento et al. 2021).  Based on the evidence that cats infected with Sporotrichosis have skin lesions that contain yeast cells, I hypothesize that cat fur can serve as a viable transmission basis for zoonoses (Miranda et al. 2018). If I took swabs of 60 domestic cats’ inner skin(skin lesions) and outer skin(fur), grew the samples on two separate agar plates, I would see that each plate has close to the same amount of bacterial colonies.
