Complete the following labs from Ch. 3, Apply Display Filters to Focus on Specific Traffic, of Wireshark 101: Essential Skills for Network Analysis (Follow the applicable instructions below and in the course text book for each lab, along with the trace files you downloaded from the Wireshark website see the Student Success Guide in the Course Resources section for details):
Lab 15, Use a Default Filter as a Seed for a New Filter Lab 16, Filter on HTTP Traffic the Right Way Lab 17, Filter on Traffic to or from Online Backup Subnets Lab 18, Filter on DNS Name Errors or HTTP 404 Responses Lab 20, Locate TCP Connection Attempts to a Client Lab 21, Filter to Locate a Set of Key Words in a Trace File Capture screenshots during the final major step of each lab (the last step prior to the Lab Cleanup with a screen output in Wireshark).
Place all screenshots from all labs in a single Microsoft Word document in the order they appear above (e.g. Lab 15 Lab 16, etc.) Include a title beneath each screenshot identifying the lab number its associated with Format the paper to include a title page, 1_ margins top, bottom, and sides (and a reference page if you choose to include paraphrased or quoted reference material in your paper (see the APA Sample Paper, and or the APA Paper Template included below in the assignment Resources section). Name the Microsoft Word file with the course number, Week 3 Wireshark Labs, and YOUR LAST NAME in the file name (example: CYB227 Week 3 Wireshark Labs Yourlastname)
